Is the TT Panthere too masculine?

I feel like solid gold may have been a better choice in hindsight! Although this watch does have strong sentimental value. I feel like it’s just a bit masculine. (yes, I’m going through my little watch collection and reevaluating my choices) The only watch I really feel suits me is my tiny white ceramic chanel premiere with diamonds. The TT panthere is an inherently feminine design IMO with its bracelet-like design and the way it shines. I think the TT is just throwing me off. ):

I don’t think TT, esp. in the panthere, is masculine at all. The TT panthere could also be considered among the most perfect and practical everyday wear, as it’s technically much more versatile than gold or white metal alone. If people were to buy only one watch, they might choose TT for that reason. Many other Cartier models read as more masculine in any metal combo, such as the santos, the TF, or the pasha/pasha c. IMO the panthere in any metal rendition or size is more feminine, and less sporty, than these

The Chanel premiere watch is a new version of a line that was popular prior to the round faced J12 era. So I think of both the panthere and the Chanel premiere as very classic. (I’m fond of classic vintage; what’s old is new lol. If you are tired of the TT panthere bc you have worn it a great deal, that‘s a different issue, that you will know instinctively. Similarly, if it’s something you will no longer wear but want to keep as a souvenir of the past  If you want to buy a gold watch as your next one, it would simply round out your collection.

I think it depends on your aesthetic. Femininity and Masculinity are both on a sliding scale. What is feminine to me, may not be feminine to another and vice versa.

I have the TT panthere in the medium size and I don't find it to be too masculine. (especially compared to other watches like the Santos or a Rolex submariner).
However, I don't really think I'm a classically feminine person. Stereotypically I don't like the color pink, don't like very feminine dresses or clothes (no lace, florals, frills, etc.). I love high heels and pumps but I'd rather wear them with a suit. VCA is not my style and I prefer the more industrial designs of Cartier or semi-symbolic designs of Bvlgari.

I love my TT panthere. It's the perfect watch for any occasion IMO. Just as @880 said, it is very versatile and it never feels out of place no matter what I wear or where I go.

Personally think its nice to have a watch in one's collection that is a little unexpected
either in size or with a face that has a color.
The TT watch is classic & timeless & really works so well in a wardrobe. Perhaps
you have to give yourself a bit of time to get used to it..
What I also like about it, it can be worn to give a feel of a bracelet as well.
The Chanel watch gives off a different vibe but they both look like they will work for you
Having an all gold watch is special no doubt, but enjoy what you have for the time being, JMO

I have a vintage TT panthere (though mine is a small) and it’s one of my favourite watches of all time! Such an elegant watch that basically goes with everything. I actually find it very feminine and an absolute classic. I’m in the minority that I don’t like it in the full gold version (which is also of course much more expensive too!)

I don't think the TT Panthere is masculine looking at all. In fact, I think it's the opposite. I find it very feminine. I don't like it on men at all, regardless of metal. It looks beautiful on you.
