Is the new papillon trunk worth the price IYO?

I’m totally in love with the new trunk but I’m hesitant to pull the plug.. it find it’s a bit expensive… and I’m also wondering if it’s just trendy or it will become one of those classic pieces. What do you think? If you have it, any regrets?

It’s a bag shape that goes in and out of style. I remember many years ago when that shape was popular. Then it was considered dated for a while. I have an old Prada similar shape in the back of my closet I will likely bring out to wear this fall/winter.

I say if you love it, that’s all that matters.

I love barrel shaped bags! I got a papillon 30" years ago but I only use it when I need a bigger bag.
Then I got a slightly smaller Coach barrel bag and returned it because it was still too big for me.
Then I bought a mini barrel bag from Coach, but it was too small.
When LV came out with the Papillon BB, I was lucky enough to get one, and for me it's the perfect size! I love it so much!:girlsigh::girlsigh::girlsigh: I will use this bag whether it's in style or not, summer or winter, because I love it.
If you love the Papillon trunk for what it is, and if you are not a trend follower, I say go for it.
Plus, with so many different style of bags that are coming out from so many fashion houses, I feel like in the near future, any style will be ok.
I think there will come a time when a diversity of styles will be accepted at any given time.

I love barrel shaped bags, and I personally don’t see it going out of style so long as it’s always in good condition. Cute find :)

it fits so much more than anyone might think… check the videos on YouTube. It’s crazy what can fit. I only have keys, cards and my phone so not much.. and there’s a LOT of room left:)
