I figured that was the case since Matthew Williams is the new CD but some bags do endure (like the Antigona) even through a changing of the guard.
I just bought the small Mystic at 50% off at Neiman Marcus. I decided that I don’t care if it’s retired. I‘ve been obsessed with that bag since its debut and now the price is irresistible.Of course! But, unfortunately, none of her designs became nearly as popular as the Antigona/Pandora.

Thanks! Happy new year!I am so happy for you! You are absolutely right — nobody should care about a bag’s current trend status.
Thank you and happy new year — enjoy your beautiful bag in great health! Thanks! Happy new year!
I have the small Antigona but have not received the Mystic yet. If you check out the other Mystic forum, it seems that it’s a gorgeous but high maintenance bag (hardware and leather scratch easily but leather scratches can be buffed out with fingers) I love my Antigona but find it high maintenance as well. As a structured bag, it can get dented and lose its polished look and distinct shape so I am careful not to knock in into anything. I baby my bags but realize that even when they get tiny marks on them, they are usually only noticeable upon close inspection, not while on the arm or in use. Mystic is retired style if that bothers you. Antigona has been super popular if that bothers you... or entices you. Let us know what you decide to get.Great bag and love the hardware. Not discounted as much in Nordstrom's Canadian stores (only 33% off). Deciding on this or the Antigona. Thoughts?
I have been using the Mystic for a few weeks now but I rarely go out so not a whole lot of use. I don’t know why people say it’s high maintenance. It’s a very easy bag to me as it’s only somewhat structured. I haven’t noticed any scratches on the leather. As people have mentioned that the hardware scratches, I left the plastic coating on the magnet and the hardware piece hidden by the flap unitl I get used to closing it with minimal scraping. But I’m thinking that maybe I shouldn’t worry about it as scratches would be hidden anyway and only noticeable to me with close scrutiny. I am in love with the Mystic. The small size is perfect. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with the Antigona. I have also checked out the pre-loved websites to see how the bag wears. I am considering the small pearl grey Antigona. Going to store tomorrow to check it out. I wanted another neutral - aside from black - that would be suitable for year round use. Would be more of a work/professional bag for when we can return to the office.
I know the lighter colour could make it high maintenance but I have been successful using Collonil Carbon Pro to protect my bags.
I did get it back in January (the small) at Neiman Marcus for more than 50% off. I absolutely love this bag! I have carried it exclusively for the last six months and it still looks brand new. And I agree that previous Givenchy bags have been “architectural.“. Perfect description!Honestly you should just get it if it makes your heart sing. I have the small mystic and it’s the only Givenchy bag in recent years aside from Pandora and Antigona that has captured my heart. It has a classic silhouette and there’s nothing out there like it. When I saw Matthew Williams bag designs, they did not resonate with me at all and made me glad that I purchased the Mystic even though it’s “old designer”. I don’t really like the grungy, punk look ….I prefer more architectural Givenchy designs of which the Mystic absolutely embodies
