Is the Mini Reissue and the Reissue 224 the same bag?

NO. The 224 is the Mini (smallest size) to the 2.55 Reissue and has a double flap just like all reissues and classics.
The Mini reissue has only been out for like 2 years. It's about the same dimensions but is single flap. (Think of it as the Reissue version of the Rectangular Mini.)

224 is typically more expensive preloved (they haven’t made them in a while), but resellers often misuse the terminology and call minis the 224. Unless it had a double flap it’s not a 224. I prefer minis as they fit more!
Please accept my apologies for coming on this threat. I'm new to here and i've no idea where/how I ask for an authentication for a Chanel maxi (vintage). Could someone please advise? Thanks so much in advance. Joanne.
The 224 also has a shorter chain, similar to other larger reissues and the classics where wearing cross body is going to sit very high. The mini has the longer chain.
Imo long chain is fixable but short is not. As other posters mention, it's also roomier because lack of double flap. This makes minis more expensive than 224 in the resell market but also because 224 tends to have very seasonal colors, it's super rare to find a black one.
