Was told the wait list for the Birkin in Canada was even closed off for their best clients as the wait list is too long and Paris can't process it but then was told I'd be put on the wait list (btw have shopped there quite a bit).

Does anyone know if there is actually a higher demand in Canada for hermes bags? My girlfriend had to go to the US to grab a Birkin and apparently even our belts are sold out over here.

Anyone know?
