Does this leather look a bit dry? It doesn’t seem to have that nice shine i see a lot of lambskin with. The first pic is yesterday second is march when I purchased. I dont know if i just wish it was shiny and im seeing things or it’s gotten worse? Its been stored up right in its dust bag in a cool dry place. The wardrobe does have a moisture absorber on the top as we live in a humid area.
I am considering a leather conditioner but dont want to use it if it doesn’t need it. I dont use this bag right now due to having a toddler so it’s mostly in storage.
This leather is very squishy and wrinkles so easy it kind of reminds me more of the pearl crush then the classic style. Definitely Feels super delicate when compared to other lambskin I've felt.
These are so hard to get that the fear of drying leather or damaging the bag definitely ruins the enjoyment a bit for me

Hi your bag looks good to me, but yes leather can vary season to season. Some are more puffy and shiny and some are flat and dry. But I would say just use it and enjoy it. I think mini size structure looses y compare to other sizes.

Looks good to me too. I would not use leather conditioner. I think it will soften up with more usage.

I know that my lambskin jacket has definitely softened and gotten more buttery and silky with use ( but it's not Chanel so maybe that varies by brand).
thanks for all your responses.
I have heard it will naturally develop a shine with use. Maybe its a sign to just use the bag and not worry so much :giggle:

I think ill just leave the leather alone for now
