Day bag or evening/party bag? Is it too loud for day? Do you think it is as versatile as the grey calfskin reissue in terms of everyday wear?

i would use the metallic during the day. i think it's a great, versatile color. but i would take the grey reissue over the metallic any day.

I think the 2007 one which looks a little bronze - ish can be used during the day and night... whereas the 2008 which is lighter more of a night bag? Not sure.. I'm dying for one of these! But I would say listen to the ladies who already have it!

Day and nite though a darker silver would be more subtle and less bling. I think it's more young and edgy than a grey which can be more difficult to match. But then there's the durablility factor. Oh well, that's another story. Good luck in deciding

i think silver its a very versatile color but i dont know about the metallic, i guess with some outfits on daytime not all casual outfits.

i think people can always be critical about fashion dos and don'ts, but honestly, if you look good, then you look good kwim? so i vote DAY and NIGHT.

I only use it for night as I am rough with my bags and stuff too many things in them.
However the look is good for either.

I've seen people use them for day all the time, but personally I just use my DS as an evening bag or for formal occassions like weddings cause reissues are just too fiddly for me to use as a day bag.
