Is the bead bracelet really that delicate?

Hello everyone,

I went to T&C the other day to get the silver bead bracelet, sadly they didnt have the size I wanted. But I also got a lot of cautions from the SA about the bracelet that made me review my decision to get it.

So I would love to know if these break easily, the SA warned me not to sleep with it, shower with it. Also noticed they increased the price again so that put me off as well.
I like my jewellery to be a bit sturdy and longterm. What are your experiences with this bracelet? Thank u

I purchased the silver bead bracelet along with the necklace for my birthday in Feb and so far so good. I haven’t had any issues with either but I don’t sleep or shower in them. They are delicate but I don’t think that the bracelet would break easily unless you are rough with jewelry or have a small child. The price increase would make me think twice as well. I am very happy with my purchases.

Glad to hear it. Funny I went in to get it for my birthday as well. I appreciate the SA being frank cuz it made me think that the bracelet wouldnt suit my approach to it. I want to wear it daily and be able to use it the same as my other bracelets. She also mentioned a lot of customers have issues with it (breaks) and they are hoping that now with the LVHM group the quality will be better but then again with all the PI quality should be good already.

I have a couple bead bracelets I've had for years and haven't had any issues. I don't wear them daily or shower or sleep with them though. I do see where there might be too much tension on the chain if there are too many beads for the length, so check to see how tight it is when worn. On one of mine, the beads still have room to move around a bit and I don't view it as any more delicate than any other chain.

Im glad the SA was honest with her cautions. Reading your experiences lets me know its not suitable for me and my lifestyle. Especially for that money I want carefree and sustainable. Thank u all.

I wore the bead bracelet 24/7 for years with no problems at all. The chain inside the beads did stretch a bit so now you can see it a bit near the clasp but otherwise that’s it.

Mine has the blue enamel heart and over the years I started to feel it was a bit “young”-looking for me (I’m well into mid-age!) so just treated myself to the hardwear micro link bracelet which I feel looks a bit “edgier”. I plan to wear this 24/7 too.

Just to add my experience - I’ve been wearing the bead bracelet 24/7 (showering, sleeping, swimming, exercising, everything) for exactly 6 years now and it’s never broken. The only issue I’ve ever had is the heart tag falling off once about 2 years in, but that was because I was trying to do a handstand and twisted my wrist LOL. Wear and tear wise, the blue heart is discolored to a more greenish tone now and the silver isn’t as shiny, but that’s to be expected. So its actually been super super sturdy for me, I recommend it to friends all the time.
