is stam a classic?

I am thinking of getting the regular size stam in leather and since it is a little out of my budget I want something that stays or in other words a classic.

I would call it iconic. It's not going anywhere, but I'm not sure I would say it's been around long enough to call it a classic.

But unmistakably Marc Jacobs.
A Stam is a piece of art. They are collectible, coveted, beautifully made, have good resale value. You can't go wrong!

I would say it is the signature Marc Jacobs bag to get, the one he is most famous for. It has been around for a long time in handbag years, and I don't think it will ever be discontinued.

I love my stam more than any bag I have ever had. I will never give it up, not ever. I hope to add another stam to my small bag collection one day.
I would say if it is not already a "classic", then it will be one day.....

The stam made its debut during the 2005 F/W season, along with other quilted styles. It's been reproduced every season since and the Quilted Line is now considered a MJ Classic
