I know this isn't the perfect place to put this but the ebay thread doesn't have anybody posting tonight.

I am selling a couple of my things on ebay and I got an email from someone asking to see a scan of my receipt..so I did and blacked out all personal info..now he is asking me to see the scan of another receipt.

This guy's feedback is horrible and hasn't had ANY recent transactions...I'm concerned he is just taking my receipt scans to use to scan someone else..I don't think he is really trying to get my items.

Is this something I should be concerned about? I'm worried because I already sent him the scan of the 1'st item...should I send the 2nd??? I don't think I should but need some support

TIA guys! Ya'll know you're the best!

yep... i agree with Cec. definitely watermark all your photos... i do that with every picture i post on the internet now.

i don't think you should send him any more scans of your receipts... your instincts are probably right.

Yeah definitely put your ebay name all over it, and especially over things where you can't just easily cover it up (like over something where there's a variation in color or pattern).

I guarantee that people on ebay are trying to scam everyone that they can. Without going into detail, stay away from ebay, people who try to buy "off" ebay & paypal. There are people in this world who choose not to work & have decided to take money from innocent people instead of working. Excuse my rant.

I wouldn't if I were you, besides that if you send them via email he then has your email address.
If I am asked for a copy of the receipt I add the picture to the auction, personal info blacked out & watermarked.
