Has anyone heard of or purchased using realry before? I never heard of before and am wondering if it's legit or a scam. Here what happened..... I searched using Google for a bag I wanted to purchase just to bring up designer website or saks or bergdorf which all have it available (current season bag).. Suddenly it pops up at a lower price and when I clicked on it out of curiosity, it said realry but then also said ******* (which I have purchased from in past). I then looked on ******* and the bag was about $500 more than this realry was saying. So out of curiosity, I went through the checkout process to see if the price would change. Well it allowed me to checkout but then I received an email stating that they are a concierge service and order will be confirmed once vendor (*******) confirms inventory is available. We'll I know it is bc I can go on their website now and order directly from them.

What I'm wondering is...since their price currently appears higher, do you think the price of my order can change after I've already completed realry checkout process or would i be locked in at that price? Feel like this must be some sort of scam bc when I googled realy and went on their site then search for this bag, it is now listed at higher price that aligns with price currently listed on *******. I guess it seemed too good to be true and am expecting an email saying "sorry, price has increased".

ETA: Not sure why name of website is redacted by tpf. I have seen other websites listed by name but unsure of their censorship protocols.

names of the websites are redacted probably because they like to threaten with lawsuits at the slightest, most innocuous mention and the PF owners want to avoid that.

I don't really care about the name being redacted; that was simply a side note and the real point of the post was whether anyone had experience or knowledge with Realry and what the likelihood might be that my "order" will be confirmed at the original price. The redacted website is legit and I have ordered authentic, new, luxury brand goods from them in the past. It's a company, not an individual reseller or platform that sells pre-owned goods.

Update for anyone who read this: as anticipated, I just received an email saying my order was canceled bc the bag is no longer in stock, which is a complete lie since I can see that it's still available on the website if I wanted to order directly.

Problem is 1. Now price to order directly increased by $400 in the day since I placed my order mo land 2. Now I have thousands of dollars tied up on my credit card as they say refund will be processed in 7 days. So annoying. Feel like this was a Total scam, I would highly suggest NOT ever using this "concierge service" (that's what they call themselves).

So it appears this company is based in China and I have now learned between this and a few other experiences with companies/sellers from China (not luxury goods, just in general via Amazon or Ebay) that it is not worth the cheaper price for the headache involved in dealing with them. Lesson learned!
Although I recently bought an item on sale from the website directly rather than full price on qvc. I realized afterwards that qvc has a better return policy than the manufacturer and it was very difficult when I needed to return it ( item was defective).

Seems nothing is easy these days. My daughter was having a hard time finding a prom dress she liked and was ending up frustrated, upset and stressed instead of enjoying the experience so I ordered several dresses online for her to try (Nordstrom, Macys, etc) But one was from random website and I've been emailing them for weeks now since the day it arrived telling them I want to return it and am getting nowhere. Guess where it ends up they are....yup, China. Had no idea when I ordered and it was her favorite dress when we saw online (not nearly as cute in person). Totally not worth it! Ended up driving 2 hours and spending 5 times as much but got a beautiful dress we are both happy with! I would've paid almost anything to end this drama at this point lol

But is affiliated with the censored website you’ve had a good experience with?
I don't think they're really affiliated, I think they're more of a "price comparison" site (only know this bc I'm now looking into it). I think they're trying to be kind of like Lyst or Buyma (not sure bc I've never used those sites but have seen them pop up during online searches). Also it looks like they're actually from Korea not China. A waste of time!

I don't think they're really "selling" anything I think they're just acting as a "fulfillment" from other vendors who are selling items at various prices (some retail some discounted). I would definitely avoid using them!
