I am thinking of getting a new Patek Aquanaut in rose gold with white strap. I already have a few Rolexes (stainless steel), Omega constellation in rose gold, Cartier watches (stainless steel), a Patek stainless 24, few J12s and a AP stainless steel.Since Aquanaut is a sporty watch, but with diamonds, can it hold value? Please give me your thoughts. Thanks

By hold value do you mean that you could sell the watch tomorrow for same price or higher? Resale value is always a risk when buying high-end watches IMO. Suggest you look on the secondary market to see how much this particular watch is going for to get an idea of residual value.
When this model was released in the late 1990s it was controversial because it is not a traditional Patek-type design. If holding value is your most important criterion for buying a watch, then you might be better off with a more traditional Patek product.
Good luck in making your choice!

The watch is beautiful - I have the stainless steel version and really enjoy it the look and functionality. I even caught some guys in the office admiring it! That said, I feel women’s watches are not great stores of value. My wrists are really small so I don’t wear men’s watches (which typically hold value much better). If you are looking to hold value and your wrists can take it, i’d recommend the men’s versions of the watch.
