Is our online purchase history connected to store records?

I just made my first online purchase and signed up for an account but I was wondering if it would be connected to my in store purchase history under my name. Does anyone know if they go by phone number or email to connect them? Or are they separate?

Would my CA be able to search my online purchase history using my regular store info?

I speak to CS before, they told me my personal information are connect. Either by phone number or email address, but should be the same. In store and online purchases history are different. Meaning they can see both ordered history from their end, but we can only see online history if we log onto our account online.
