Hi all... I took off my bangle to go climbing, and I cleaned it and put it back on and part of the inside where the screw is feels funny.... Is this normal... I never felt this sticking out before. Please advise if possible, many thanks!ImageUploadedByPurseForum1432587554.267894.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1432587586.847462.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1432587602.599108.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1432587625.585962.jpg

No, this is not normal.
I would take it off and check on it, maybe you just have to adjust it. From what I understand these are some sort of stoppers.
If you cannot resolve this go to Cartier so that they can have a look. I would not wear it until then.
But don' t worry too much, I don' t think it is broken.

I’ve just checked/felt mine, the inside is smooth, the center portion does not stick past the surrounding. I’ve taken mine off many times, I’ve never had that happen. I’m not sure what has happened or why, I would suggest taking it in to be examined.

You probably need to replace the screws. They'll have to send it to NY and service it. Depending on when you got it/the damage it'll either be free or about $350.

It's normal to service them because the working mechanism. Plus they polish it and it comes back like brand new! My mom does hers every couple years.

Polish it meaning a good cleaning? Or the process that makes it look new by removing a thin layer of gold?

Thank you so much for personally checking yours for me!

Hi all... I took off my bangle to go climbing

Hi LVoeletters - this may be off topic but I'm a climber too, I really like the bangle but have been hesitant to get it due possible hazards and damage to the bracelet. Do you climb often and take the bracelet off each time? I was thinking I could leave it on in the gym and cover it with a wrist band and take it off when at the crag...what are your thoughts? Thanks

I wear a sweat band for the wall, I do the gyms often, I climb outside a couple of times a year and that's when I'll take it off, more so bc I don't want to worry when I'm hiking up to climb/ banging my wrist somewhere.
