Is mini frivole pendant good as a daily necklace?

Hi, I would like to get some advice about purchasing a necklace for my 30th birthday. I have been eyeing the mini frivole pendant in yellow gold for a while. I tried a white gold one in store, love the size and look, but I am not sure if it fits my lifestyle. I dress pretty casually - not hoodies and sweatshirts though, more like blouse and jeans/pants. I am also worried about scratches if I wear it daily - the polish is what I like about the pendant so I hope it lasts.

Initially I was thinking maybe get another simple design necklace (cartier trinity, diamond by the yard, etc.) for daily wear, and I can wear the frivole with feminine outfit. However in this challenging time I feel that it might be better not to indulge on two necklaces at a time. Do you think mini frivole is a good daily necklace, or should I get something else that I will probably wear more? Thank you so much for your help!

I love the mini frivole in YG. This was my first VCA piece. I think it’s a great every day piece. As long as you store it correctly (ie with nothing rubbing against the pendant) I don’t think you need to worry about scratches. Necklaces are generally pretty out of the way of harm, unlike bracelets. I also like to wear my frivole stacked with other necklaces.

Thank you for the pictures, it looks so pretty on you! I love how you layer it with the alhambra pendant.

Is it difficult to measure the necklaces so that they stack and lay correctly?
The day I went to the boutique to purchase my Alhambra, I wore the frivole to make sure it layered the way I wanted it to. But it didn't require any work because I used the jump rings already on the necklace. The frivole is worn on the shorter jump ring, and the Alhambra on the longer one. I also find that when on the shorter jump loop, the necklaces sort of ride up my neck over the course of the day, so this gives even more space.

The mini frivole is very dainty as a necklace, I like it for “everyday” because it’s understated, feminine, and easy to maintain. I rotate this necklace with my sweet Alhambra carnelian, and between the two, the frivole stands out just a bit more with its mirror finish petals. It’s suitable for everyday for sure.

I tried on the mini frivole to stack with my sweet butterfly and really liked it (flower, butterfly, really cute) but now the GMOP Vintage is all I can think about..

I could have written this thread myself - debating a frivole purchase for my 30th too. Still undecided on size though! I wish there was an in between size for the pendant.

The small size is still fairly small, similar to the size of vintage Alhambra. For those wanting a piece to wear long term (as in when you are older), I'd go for small over mini.
