I confess, I'm a leather girl- I've only done leather until now. I've been looking for a wallet that goes with everything and the leather ones I like feel a bit too soft for me. Currently I have a zip round gathered leather wallet and I like how secure it is. Which led me to consider the Peyton multistripe accordion wallet on FOS. After ordering it I started wondering about it's durability (you'd think I'd consider this BEFORE buying... :blushing: )

So, what has been your experience with coated canvas? Is it durable? Do the wallets hold their shape well? Does the canvas get dirty easily? I want to hear the good and the bad. :smile1:

Thanks ladies!

I'm with you on being a leather girl. But I just bought the new Coated Canvas Siggy tote and I love how durable this is. It's nice on hot humid days.
I know your interested in a wallet, but if the MFF canvas is anything like the FP, it's nice.
I feel like it will be easy to maintain and it seems to be scratch resistant.

Good luck, and wish I could be more helpful.

Thanks! Have you needed to wipe it for cleaning? I'm also wondering about this.

I have the MFF Peyton floral tote and matching accordion zip wallet. I love them both. I wanted something durable for summer, I have 3 kids and needed something I didn't have to baby. I've had them for a couple months now and both have held up perfectly. It's actually become my favorite summer bag!

Oooh, I'm so glad to hear. The Peyton floral is so pretty! - I debated back and forth between the two and by the time I made up my mind the floral was gone. (and I don't even like florals )

Thanks for the info.

I have a Peyton Signature coated canvas slim zip wallet that I use as my everyday wallet. It's durable, it feels well made (not flimsy, has nice leather trim) and wipes easily. I've had it since January and haven't noticed any visible dirt or stains. I don't have kids and it basically lives in my purse until the cash register so YMMV.

I have a child, but my wallet use is very similar to yours. I'm looking forward to mine lasting and looking good for a long time.

Thanks for the info.
