Is Jaw Reduction + Zygoma at 21 Years old too young?

I will be in my mid 20's when getting the lift done, so I was thinking that after fc I will need tissue lift and skin removal but not muscle tightening, so macs rather than smas, right? I will not be old enough to need muscle tightening I think, only to reverse the effects of fc. However, all the women in my family, including me, have a lot of buccal fat and fat around the jaw which makes our faces look kinda square, but when I lift this fat I look good and not square. So does that make me a candidate for smas? I don;t know..(I don't want to remove the buccal fat because it makes me look young and will keep me looking younger when I am old). What is the difference between the macs lift and the smas lift?

Also, what is the open grafting technique for fg that you mentioned? Have you also heard about dermis graft?

One last question, do you happen to use a plastic surgery guide? Or can you reccomend one?
Thanks a lot, your help is really appreciated

Actually MACs lift is just a name. Theres nothing very innovative or different about that technique besides the fact that it restricts the degree of lifting made possible What matters is whether or not the problem areas is being addressed. And most often it is the SMAS tissue that requires manipulation. SMAS will always produce better results than MACs. It is best not to go to a facelift specialist requesting this and that. I did that with Bryan Mendelson and Jo Yong Woo only to be lectured about how pointless that was. Let the specialist examine your facial structure and decide what needs correcting. They will need select the method which grants them full access, mobility and visibility to the sagging tissues.

Also I should add that after my concentric malar lift with mendelson, my face became alot narrower because he had lifted all the sagging tissues and the jowels and shifted the positions of my fat pockets. I dunno if ure a candidate cos i never seen your face so I really can't comment. Also, do not remove your buccal fat. Buccal fat keeps you looking young. You dont want to Plus and Minus your surgery if you know what I mean. Young from the lifting but old from hollowness haha.

Open fg is instead of injecting they open the tissues up and visibly graft. Apparently the survivability is higher using that method. I dont know how invasive (or non invasive) it is tho so you have to inquire

Do you know anyone who performs the open graft method? Have you seen/met any patients who got it?
