...to really really really love a bag? I'm just head over heels with my Origan City, and the feeling is growing. Sure, maybe it's a fleeting thing, maybe the bag is too young for me, but I can't help myself!

Too young for you? How do you figure?

Not wrong. It makes you happy. That is great!

If you begin to feel that the feeling between you and the bag becomes mutual, then you may have problems.

I only say the bag may be too young for me because I am 49, and it's usually the younger girls who are carrying this bag. OTOH, I'm still a kid at heart. I just don't want to be pegged as one of those women "of a certain age" who's still trying to look like a teenager... :p

And there are Grenat and Camel versions of this bag in my future...

I am in love with my black city bag so I can relate. I almost feel like I'm cheating on it when I load up a different bag.

P.S. You are never too old for B-bags--they are fantastic on everyone, even old gals like me (I'm 45).

pseub, I am 49 too:push:

I have a few cities....I love them:heart: , I use them.

I too would not want to look like a woman trying to "look young". I am what I am, reading glasses and all.

IMHO, they are a classy bag.

plus my 18 yr old daughter would call me on it if they looked too young for me.:noggin:

And I'm older than you all guys :D:D:D I'm already 50 :graucho: !! WOW .... and I LOVE Bbags and I wear it and enjoy it . . .:flowers: ! So don't worry you "young" girls . . . look at these pictures of me with some of my bbags and let me know if I'm too old for to wear it, please  !

Nope, not wrong at all! It would be way more "wrong" to have spent such a chunk of money on a bag that you felt "blah" about and had sit in a closet for many years, unworn.

I feel the exact same way about my Rouille Twiggy. I just love to look at her, carry her. She really makes me smile : )

I wish you well,

Bridget

Wow. You have AMAZING fashion sense!

PS - you look no where NEAR 50 - now out with it, tell us the truth. How old are you really? :graucho:

i dont think bbags have an age limit! i like seeing them on all sorts of people!

I'm all about the rock n' roll with my bags. I dont own anything sweet or classic (hehe) and totally rock around with my bags at concerts and clubs and lounges. I think bbags can be so different for each person.

first class looks so classically chic in the first, casual bohemian the next and comfy casual the third. all with the same bag! thats so cool to me! its what drew me to bbags! just because starlet were wearing them doesnt mean they have to be worn by somone in their 20s! I saw the most AMAZING buisnesswoman with a calcaire city in LA, short grey hair, chocolate brown jacket, cream top and grey tweed pants with pointy brown flats... looked so chic and so amazing... i just about had a bbag heart attack!! i couldnt get my camera phone out quick enough before she was gone, but wow! she looked tons better than the droves of girls on melrose all decked out in their boho best
