My dilemma…I already have a Speedy 30 monogram but hubby said to pick a bag for my birthday, nothing really hits me except the Mon Mono Speedy. I like that I could have my initials but feel it’s wasteful to get another Speedy ( I already have 2 in Emprient leather, the mono and a DE ) I was considering the 35, but at almost 5’2 it may be to overpowering for my size. Any thought would be greatly appreciated.
Is it silly to buy a Mon Mono if I already have a mono?

What about a wallet or SLG from the Mon Mono collection?
How about a Neverful? Or get the new Speedy and let the old one go?
It doesn’t sound like you really want the bag but are just trying to find “something”. I’d wait until you really find something you love.
What about an Alma mon mono? Or I agree with the neverfull as I do think they look really good. Or you said your speedy is a 30 so could you get mon mono 25?

If you really like getting a second Speedy 30 Mon mono, why not? You seem to like another one with your initials. They would sort of be different Speedy's if the MonMono designs were different!!!!
If you love the Speedy AND a specific Mon Monogram Speedy go for it.
I have several Speedys which I love to use as well as a Mon Monogram Speedy. The Mon Monogram is my favorite (have it for 9 years now and still love it). I also wanted to get a Mon Monogram in 35 and am also 5“2‘. I tried the size on in store and I liked the size on me. It would have served as a small travel or weekender bag, like the Keepall 45 would serve for kost people. But as I am small the Keepall 45 looks huge on me, so I never use it. 35 would be perfekt for that purpose.
I think for your decision, it depends on if you really love it. If it is only a solala choice as you have to choose something, I would wait as another member suggested till you find anything else you love.
Otherwise I think a Mon Monogram Speedy B 35 would be a nice addition.

I think the 35 is too big! I’m 5’4 and had a mon monogram 35 that I used for a little bit when my son was a baby. I ended up selling it to Fashionphile and they gave me a decent price-(I was surprised because it had my initials!) I liked how much it held but it looked overwhelming on me. If I was in your position, I would either let go of your original Speedy & order the mon monogram. Or get a different bag or size Speedy (25? Or an On the Go?) The Mon monogram is special though, and the new designs are so fun to play with! I just ordered an Alma BB with stripes, initials & a cute “patch”. I can’t wait for it to come 😊
