Is it safe to buy from HEWI?

Hi,

I saw a lovely inexpensive large patent lady dior on Hardlyeverwornit. I really liked it and spoke with the seller who told me she was the outright owner of the bag. Though she may well be above board and honest, the company has a very low Google score (2.9) I think, and I saw a couple of people on here say not so great things about them too.. Do you think it's worth the risk?

I am really really trying to get my hands on a preloved lady dior since being out here in London till next year, and I cannot find anyone reputable selling them here in the UK. Overseas Sites that are selling them do not include customs and duties fees (which are usually around 400 GBP) I have tried Bagista, Luxury Promise, Designer Exchange and so far, it's just not happening as they don't have the inventory!! There HAS to be others!!!! No equivalent to Fashionphile here?

Anyway, please please give me your thoughts on whether it is worth the risk of purchase on HEWI..

I bought a holy grail Balenciaga moto jacket from HEWI. It was like new and perfect in every way, just as described. Great seller as well.

My other contact with HEWI was when someone was selling fake Bal City:s on HEWI (and many other European similar websites). I notified HEWI about the bags, they e-mailed me right back thanking me saying they'd look into it directly and a few days later all the fake Bals were gone. Which is a lot more than can be said about other similar sites who keep selling fakes.

I haven't purchased anything from HEWI for a few years but all in all my experience with them was great and I'd buy again as my understanding is they generally sell exactly what they say, hardly ever or never worn items. I'm surprised at their low Google score.

(I'll check my list of websites and see if I have any other good EU tips for you.)

I bought a chanel woc which turned out to be a clutch so decided to return. The item was genuine but the return (bought from a profesional seller) was a nightmare, had to threaten them with a chargeback etc.
