is it possible to get an iron burn out of silk?

i'm so bummed! i was ironing a silk skirt and my iron got stuck on it and caused a burn mark. is there any hope to get this out?

Nope. A burn is permanent.

You may want to consider putting something over it, like an embellishment, or altering it to remove the area.
