Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone ever got a deal (sale) on celine bags? I'm interested in the belt bag but I can wait if a deal pops up every once in a while. My city doesn't have any celine boutiques or large department stores so online is the way to go. Also I am not considering a used one or buying from ebay :smile:

Which country are you in? Celine doesn’t go on sale at boutiques or large department stores in the US, unless the outlet store. But outlets only carry old styles and very limited choices. The best deal you can get is probably in Europe. Vestiaire, the realreal, and fashionphile has pristine condition Celine items from time to time. You just need to keep checking.

Europe in person will be your best bet, especially for the belt bag. The Celine boutiques in any of the Euro countries will be up to 30% cheaper than the US, and make sure to claim your VAT at the airport. It's hard to find Celine at online boutiques, and even so you may pay the same price or more due to import tax. The outlet in Woodbury Commons does have "sales" on old/less popular styles as stated above but you are not likely to find a belt bag there.

Other than that, Fashionphile and the RealReal have excellent preloved deals that are cheaper than a plane ticket... I was wary for a while, but have sent purchases to a third-party authenticator for peace of mine.

I second what pogopony said, Celine is one of those brands that almost never goes on sale aside from old/less popular styles at the outlet store. Since the belt bag is fairly popular, it probably won't be on sale any time soon. If you don't want to buy it used and ever decide to purchase brand new, there is a retailer 24sevres that sells Celine, but at the retail price. Thats if you're from the USA, I'm not familiar with the prices when you're shopping via a different region though, I just know that the prices they have reflect the prices on Celines website. You'll probably save on tax if you're from the USA shopping through 24sevres as opposed to purchasing it off the Celine website.

Thank you everyone for your helpful answers. Now that I know the belt bag will not go on sale, I'll just go ahead and order through a friend who's in europe. as far as i know seems like europe is the cheapest place to buy a new celine bag. :)

Hey dear, actually the outlet at Woodbury receives Belt Bags from time to time and I also know some Barney's Warehouse stores that currently have the Belt Bag. Private message me if you're interested.

I got a 10% discount on my Trio bag at a Galleries Lafayette location, it was a bit random and I don't think it's regular procedure. Locals can get 10% off most things when they make the store card on their first purchase. Since we weren't locals the SA went to ask her manager if we could still get the card and she told her to just give us the discount. It was on black friday shortly before closing time so we just got very lucky. With tax refund I got an amazing price.

Try the Barneys Warehouse SF premium outlet. They carry Celine in the back room, though you may not find exactly what you are looking for, they do have amazing deals.

I should clarify, we get great deals, I know this because they get sold as soon as they appear via text shopping. Good luck finding your bags!

If your friend sends it to you, it still has to go through customs, so best feature that in
