Hello, ladies,

I am not really sure if there will be price increase in Jan., I mean I hope the bad economy makes them think twice before they increase the price, but I want to start to hunt for one now just in case price will go up anyways. Do you think it is possible to score one in such a short time? Would you please PM me if you see one somewhere? I will start to track the inventory thread too. Thank you ahead.

30's are very easily found--madison has them regularly in the back. just ask

The words "price increase" in your title made my heart drop. I am soo banned for the near future and if there is indeed a price increase in January I prob. won't be able to get much of anything in 2009.

Good luck on finding your Birkin very soon!

rileygirl, I am sorry to make your heart drop. If the price indeed would go up, my heart would drop too: my saving can't beat up price increase. :crybaby:

I hear you Mavsun!!!! I would be tempted to buy before the increase and I am soooo not in any position to do so. I hope they don't increase prices for a looooooong time. That would be so nice!!!

I think a price increase is possible in some parts of the world but not in others. I would guess that there will be a price increase in the UK since the price difference with Paris is so significant now when the pound have droped so much in value. In the US I would think that the price probably won't move since the dollar have gained some strenght since the fall increase (albite lost some of it again).

Given the strength of the dollar in recent months, there is a chance that the bags will fall in price in the US, and go up in price in the UK in January... waiting and hoping for the best here....
