Is it possible? Tiffany's dropped some SS prices!?!?!

I bought the sevillana lariat necklace in october for $335, now it's $295?!?! Is this possible? The state of the economy is hitting Tiffany's too! ush: Not everything has dropped in price, but alot of the more basic items have I think...simple pendants with chains...

I haven't seen it in their financial reports, but a friend of mine told me what she spotted. She went to the Tiffany's store in South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa), and she said there was a display case w/ little/small signs that stated gifts less than $250, and another for gifts less than $150 for example. The thing is...I do not know if TIF dropped prices on all of their jewelry, or only their "entry level" type stuff. And a salesperson specifically told her that "x" was $20 - $40 more expensive in December.

I have to say that a drop in price is unusual. But all jewelry stores were hit hard this past season.

^ I saw displays at the Toronto Tiffanys like that as well - like specific areas where the jewellery is labelled as less than 150$ etc.
