For the longest time I was looking at this bracelet from the Essential Pearl Collection. When I was finally ready to buy it it could not be located in the US.
But am currently traveling in Europe and just stopped by a Tiffany store. After some back and forth they indeed found one. Super happy I bought it as I would also get the VAT back and pay a little less than in the US.

After I came home I looked around the website somemore to compare prices and exchange rates. I saw that the description now says that the little round tag is sterling silver while the clasp is 18k white gold.
But in real life the little round tag has the Au750 stamp on my bracelet. Now I am not sure what is what. I'd be disappointed if indeed the clasp and the tag were not 18k. The price definitely was for a gold piece at about $1500.

Could it be that the website description is wrong?

The receipt says: 18W CP 7-7.5 TF ESS BLT

On the UK site I can only compare to the Ziegfeld which is all silver and says 925 on the tag. Price £505

There are EU compliances, but European countries have their own laws. Where did you buy it? You say VAT, which sounds British. In the UK we have to have Assay marks for gold and silver (1973 Hallmarking Act) but there are weight exemptions.

Pricing is arbitrary, I don't think you can go on that. Anything in the EP or Hardwear lines seem to be over £1K for just silver and pearls.

Thank you for the answer. That is what I thought regarding the price.

I bought this in Germany.

And here the tag on both sides. There are no other stamps on the clasp.

I'd like to assume it's all gold.

I'm from a country that used 750 instead of 18k. It is 18k white gold. It can be said 75% solid gold as well. Other instances is 22k gold is 916, which is 91.6% solid gold
Oh I know the different gold numbers depending if you are in Europe or the US. My confusion is that the website says the little round tag is Sterling Silver but on my bracelet, in real life it says Au 750.........
I decided to believe my tag and not the website.
