Is iridescent caviar hard to take care of?

I'm eyeing on my first Chanel and looking at this. Do they transfer or get ruined easily?

I have a 22P iridescent caviar bag and no issues. I treat it like my black small caviar bag. It basically looks brand new.

Did you use a protector spray or anything on it? Please share me your tips and tricks! I YouTubed how to make use of the strap/get a base shaper/little hook thing to adjust the strap but protecting the leather I've got no idea about.. I've only ever walked into a Chanel store once for like 5 minutes my life and this was over a decade ago

It is the spring collection, Printemps (P). It is hard to keep track with all the different collections.

I have this 22P iridescent caviar as a wallet, completely untreated, and so far no color transfer or scuffs. I would still be careful around pointy objects and pens.

I saw a 22P iridescent c19 card holder on fashionphile in pretty banged up condition.. the corners were dark and I’m not sure if it’s just dirty or worn out but I tempted to just spray waterproof guard all over it to prevent further loss of the iridescence. Thoughts?

I have an 18C 11.12 with ruthenium hardware and the caviar is still in pristine condition Admittedly it’s not my every day bag but I haven’t been afraid to use it.
