Pls help me out! I just got my LV Favorite MM, and it's super duper hard to get it. However, when I got it, I realize that's not what I expected. Can anyone help me to give some reviews for your bag (wear and tear, magnetic closure), and also, is it a classic handbag that might be on trend for long time? If not, what else of LV can be? Thank you so so much!

IMO not a classic - Monogram canvas Speedy 25, 30, Alma PM and Noe (Petit or regular) are in my head what I define as true LV classics.

The whole classic thing is a moot point if you don't like any of those particular styles.

If you're having second thoughts about the Favorite MM, just return it. Don't hold on to it for the sake of it being hard to get.

I actualy thought the favorite mm is not avaible anymore in stores and online. Only the pm size is still there.

I actually don't like the favorite. I had it and sold it after a few months, because it didn't work for me. the look is too simple for my taste and the magnet is not secure enough for me. and if it fall on the Floor everything will fall out lol because id doesnt stay closed.
It didn't work me + its more sporty than dressy in the whole look to me esoecially because of the loose flap.

and def not a classic of Louis Vuitton.
the speedy, neverfull, keepall and alma are classics. and when it comes to smaller bags the pochette is def a classic.

Classic prints, not a classic style. I recently bought one also had a shoulder strap made for better shoulder carry. It’s not a style that will go “out” if that’s what you’re worried about. Great bag. I bought the MM and yes they are still available.

The magnet is fine for me. I like to get in and out of the bag quickly. The gold plate might be scratched but I kept the plastic on.

I initially had the PA in mono which did not work for me. When an SA showed me the favorite in ebene I had the Marie Kondo zing feeling :)

Like others have said I don’t think it’s a “classic” however it is one of my favorite and most used bags in my small collection. I love it and I’ve never had any issues with the magnet or things falling out of it. I love that it’s a versatile piece. You can use it during the day as a crossbody and at night as a clutch. I mostly use it on weekends when I don’t need to carry a whole bunch and want to be hands free while out shopping. I love that you can get in and out of the bag easily with not much hassle or fuss. I have the MM size so I can’t compare to the PM but the MM has plenty of space in my opinion for my essentials. If you aren’t in love with the purse I would return it and let someone else who’s been searching for it and really wants it have a chance of owning it. I wouldn’t keep it just because it’s diffict to find. I don’t see it ever going out of style either but that’s just my opinion. I’ve also owned the Eva which is no longer made but I loved the Favorite more and sold the Eva. Eva was cute but not as functional for me. Everyone is different, just go with your heart.

If your not feeling it. I would return it. I have this bag for over a year. I use it alot. More for shopping & cinema very casual day outs. It's one of those staple pieces to have. Not particularly special but it is nice to have for those days you want to be hands free.
What about the Alma bb? Fits more stuff. It's a bit more expensive but you do get the craftsmanship that you can feel and see unlike the Favourite which is of a simplistic design and construction. So that might be what's making you feel underwhelming for you.

I love my Favorites. I have 2 and they’re my most used bags for the past 5 years. I’ve had no issues such as creasing with both. I’ve had the gold plate replaced 2x free of charge due to small scratches which happens overtime. LV doesn’t charge for the gold plate replacement (at least in my location).
As others mentioned it’s not a classic bag like Alma & speedy but the style of the bag is versatile and not trendy.
You can checkout the Favorite Clubhouse for more info on the bag.
If you’re not in love with it, return it. It sounds like you got it because it’s hard to get. Not every popular bag is for everyone.
If you’re looking for a small classic bag you can checkout the Alma bb as someone else mentioned. This is also a great bag with no issues.

I think it depends on your preference - the type of bag people prefer to carry really depends on your life style - casual, dressy, etc. like all bags many will love a style and many will dislike a style for different reasons. For example I love the look of the City Steamer it’s beautiful and I look at them every time I goto LV - however I do not feel it fits my lifestyle - In my opinion I dress way to casual to carry that bag and I feel it will just sit in my closet.
As for the favorite in my opinion I love it for spring time brunch and early dinners I feel it compliments a casual dress when carried with the gold chain. I personally do not carry it and use it as an everyday bag because I dress very casual for work but when I travel it’s great to throw in a larger bag and take out to wear crossbody when we are out and about.
Good Luck with your decision.

I would not consider it a "classic" but it is a great bag as long as it doesn't develop the crease than many favorite pm and mm bags get. I used to have a favorite pm in monogram and I sold it 6 months after buying it because there was a crease that formed and LV wouldn't fix it or give a refund credit. I still love the look of the bag.

I love it. I have the Favorite MM in both DE and mono. I’ve had no issues so far; gotten it a few months ago. But if you’re not feeling it, whether or not it was hard to get, I would return it for something that makes your heart sing. Good luck.

I like it but don't love it. I have the MM.

PROS:
Nice size for a casual day bag.
Can be used as a clutch or evening bag with the gold chain.
The style suits the monogram in my opinion.
Magnetic opening is convenient to get in and out of.
It's very trendy and sought after.

CONS:
Car keys don't fit well in the bag.
Stuff does fall out.
The strap is awful and needs to be longer for a crossbody.
A full size wallet takes up too much space.
The front plate scratches immediately. No point trying to stop this happening.
