Hi all! Just out of curiosity is this normal stitching for a rouge h in Togo? Most I see online are in box so having a hard time figuring it out. I would love to add a rouge h to my collection. Just trying to educate myself! Thank you!

I’ve also seen this bag on the website where you probably saw it. I’d carefully examine the bag if I were you. Try seeing it in person first if possible cause for the bag’s age, I think it started too early for cracking on the wax edges. I’m not sure but maybe it was stored in an intense humid condition for it to have cracked that early which must also be the reason why the leather could have possibly darkened earlier than the stitching. I’m no expert but I’ve had Hermès bags older than this stored in relatively humid conditions without cracking on wax edges. I notice based on experience that cracks on edging start after at least 5 years of daily use. Happy shopping!

Thank you!! I’ve also asked for some extra photos, details, etc… unfortunately I cannot see it in person however it would be returnable which is nice. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet and still just doing research

Going to pass I think. The hardware is also too scratched in the photos they sent for that price imo. If it goes lower in price it may be worth a try ;) Thank you again for your thoughts!

I have a contact who’s fabulous in the website for the rouge h kelly. If you’re going through their chat support and aren’t getting as much detailed stuff as possible and want his contact, dm me:)

The color’s beautiful though, but rouge h just doesn’t go with my wardrobe. I got an agenda in rouge h to satisfy that craving years ago hahaha

You’re so sweet! I have a wonderful contact there as well. I think we’re both maybe referring to the same person. He’s always very responsive via text. But thank you!!

And very interesting. That stitching in the tri color does look exactly the same. I saw another birkin in Togo on another site that also had the slightly different stitching. So may possibly just be a slight variation in the some of the rouge h bags in Togo??

I’m also wondering if it will go with my wardrobe… seems some love it and other cannot make it work. I’m not a bright red person so thought this might be an alternative. I prefer using my birkin but not as practical as a mom of 2 littles. There’s a green 30cm B on their site I’m sooo tempted by as well BUT Im holding out for a 25cm B next. I also want a darker colored K since this would be a good every day bag and rubbing on my hip/crossbody. I think regardless I may wait and see if it gets lowered and if not it wasn’t meant to be!

I think it’s a beautiful classic color but can clash with seasonal tones. It can be too dark for spring/summer so I use my similar colored bags to rouge h during fall/winter but I’m a such a sucker for noir, etoupe, and bleu marine so those get priority.

The past month I’ve been reaching for my bougainvillea birkin more than I have the past 13 years I’ve had it as it’s such a chameleon. It can be pink, red, and orange depending on the light which I’m obsessing over.

But if rouge h works for your wardrobe, I think it’ll be an excellent everyday bag as the color’s very classic Hermès. More so in a kelly! If you’re talking about the green in clemence made in 2015, it’s such eye candy I love!

*in regards to our contact, if his name starts with a B, I love him! Hahahah

Ah Birkin twins! I love my bougainvillea Birkin too! The perfect pop but neutral at the same time. And yes that is the green eye candy I was referring too. So very tempting but I have to keep scrolling and try to be practical lol. My contacts name starts with an R haha! But glad we both have nice contacts

Bag cheers, that’s awesome I love having bag twins! That green is wonderful, I’m actually looking into a 35 of that. But if practicality is on your list, a Kelly’s a much better choice. I always say if there’s only one bag I could have my entire life, it would be a kelly.

If R’s last name starts with an L, I love him too! He used to be my contact until he went on a leave years ago then B forced us to be friends. You can’t go wrong with their staff, always been amazing whether in store or online:)

Yes, this is correct. Rouge H has this colour stitching, and it often appears more vibrant than the leather. The colour is called Acajou, and it is used on a couple other leather colours as well.
