Is cartier ballon bleu two toned gold plated???

Hello ladies I just bought theballon bleu medium steele/rose with diamonds on the face. After reading one thread here i get a bit worried someone said that the twotoned ballon bleu is goldplated!! Anybody know if this is true? i really dont expect this from cartier and now im worried.

I don't know about the ballon bleu or their recent styles, but yes, a lot of Cartier watches are gold plated. At least it used to be that way, I'm not sure how it is now.

On the website its not writing anything about ballon bleu being gold plated. If that was the case they had to mention it right? thx for ur answer btw

Can you call the SA or an authorized dealer and ask? I haven't really looked at purchasing Cartier lately but about a year ago i was going to buy a two tone style and found out it was plated. But the watch was a few years old. I would hope the newer styles wouldn't be plated but was really surprised to learn the one I was considering was.
