Hey everyone!
It has been a while I am into JUC collection (ring and bracelet w/o diamonds), but I have come across so many replicas in real gold and similar design in Istanbul and Dubai as well. Do you think it is worth paying 3 times more for authentic product? And do you think it is going to be an investment piece? I own a T-bracelet with diamonds from Tiffany since 2012 and its price has been going up and up since then, making it worth buying. Please share your opinion. THANKS xoxo

For me, yes it is worth buying the real deal from Cartier.

If you just like the design but don’t care about who has made it or don’t think you will wear it a lot then it may be worth buying a replica but there is a sense of pride that comes from knowing you own the real thing.

I know the creations are pricey but as someone who is a massive Cartier fan, I have no regrets buying any of my pieces. I do believe they are investment pieces - you can hand them down to your family - and the prices do keep going up every year. I don’t buy my pieces to resell, I buy them to keep forever but if I needed money urgently, I know I could sell them and get a decent amount of money back for them.

Considering the audience here, what do you think the answer would be?

If you can't afford authentic, don't buy it. I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone here that would encourage replicas. That's not the spirit of this forum. You may be better asking this in reddit.
What I am trying to find out is are they going to be a good investment or not, I am also for authentic things and do not own any replicas. But those replicas I saw (from real gold of course) were just 1:1 in similarity, one can hardly tell the difference.
