My main watch now is a movado ladies sport watch but I'm looking at mid size or more likely smaller mens size watch (31 to 36 mm). It seems like that is the direction right now.
Is anyone here on TPF still buying new ladies watches?
I have a ladies J12, However Its 38mm and my other watch is a 36mm Rolex Date Just (Mens) Im sure ladies are still buying ladies watches, just depends on your personal style and taste.
I purchased this ladies Invicta w diamond accents recently and I like it a lot. It is large but not ridiculously large. It leans towards a man's mid-size or man's small, I think.
You can't go wrong with any of the Victorinox or Wenger watches, there are many like the Officer's watches that are considered unisex. I have an Officer's w the black face, very unique.
Interesting. They are making watches for women that are as large as or larger than men's used to be. What was once considered normal size for a man is now considered too small (except maybe in countries where the men are smaller).
Yes, i just purchased a ladies bulova 31mm watch. I am petite 5'1 103 lbs. I am not really into the oversized look, its just not me. I purchased this watch at a bulova retailer store near my house but i think they still carry it online. If you want to see the look just google bulova 98r103. I know its not an expensive watch or anything but it is femenine looking and i do get alot of compliments when i do wear it. I did try on 2 tag watches but the ones i liked , the two toned with diamonds either came in a 26mm or a 36 or 38mm cant remember the exact larger sized one. The 26 was a little too small for the look i wanted but the larger size looked too big on my wrist. I havent worn a watch in forever so this was a good starter watch for me. Besides since hubby did save money on my watch maybe he could use the extra to buy me another Louis Vuitton purse.. lol
I have small wrists so I would not consider buying a man's watch. I know that the style right now is to wear larger watches, but I personally like more petite watches in terms of their overall look. I think it just depends on your style.
