I sold my black one a few months ago and last week I was using my navy with gold HW and after the third day I couldn't wait to switch out. :-(

I don't know why I feel bad about that but I do. I still have lots of MK bags that I love and plan to add the yummy tangerine Bennet soon but I don't know why I'm not feeling the Hamilton anymore.

Just wondering if anyone else can relate.

Sorry to hear that you've fallen out of love with the Hamilton ... I guess I'm the opposite since the Hamilton is the only bag I ever notice from MK. The other MK styles are nice but they just don't catch my attention like the Hamilton. Like they say ' beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.

I love MK bags, but I've never been a fan of the Hamilton. It kind of turned me off this forum as that is all most people posted about. So no, crissy, you're not alone.

I'm about to get my first Hamilton tomorrow, so I hope I don't fall out of love with it! LOL. But it's the first MK I noticed and really wanted so I'm thrilled to be finally be getting one. I know I'll love the style; as long as it doesn't turn into a black hole with all my stuff settling to the bottom, I'll love it forever.

I like the design a lot but I find the functionality is just not there for me..I've been using a large Hamilton for everyday & the strap is just not comfortable on my shoulder. I don't enjoy carrying it at all. Plus I have some weird issue with the leather that I haven't been able to resolve (thanks MK customer service)...I have a smaller Hamilton that I liked a lot but haven't used in a while but the larger one is just not pleasing me at all lol :(

Just 2 weeks ago I was all set to buy the large N/S Hamilton in black. However, I am someone who likes to consider all the details of a product before committing to buying it, especially when the product is almost $400. This amount may not seem much to some, but I am new to the world of designer handbags and I think it is a lot of cash to spend. I also only ever spent $80 or less on purses.
Anyway...back to the Hamilton. In the end, I decided it was not practical for me. I really appreciate its aesthetics - the clean lines and chunky hardware - but I was concerned about its weight. I thought it would be too heavy to carry on a daily basis with all my things in it on public transit. I did not like that the shoulder strap cannot be removed (this would have lightened the load) or the lack of external pockets and a zip-top closure. I also thought it was too fancy for the clothes I regularly wear as a preschool teacher.
After further deliberation and also deciding against the MbyMJ Hillier Hobo, I finally decided to buy the medium Dylan tote by Linea Pelle in the Tmoro colour.

yes totally agree...im very petite but like big bags///the hamilton however is HEAVY even when its completely empty! Dont get me wrong...I adore my luggage color lg hamilton but not very practical..more of a compliment to a day outfit (then I quickly switch out to a more comfy bag that I will say carry for weeks on end)

My hamilton is actually my favourite bag at the moment! It's so chic and sophisticated looking and i love how it fits my school books so it's practical too!

What made you fall out of love with it? Maybe you've had it for too long and are just getting sick of it?

First of all the large one looks ridiculous on my five foot frame - and I hate heavy bags so I had 2 mediums. I think the medium is too small though - I bought the second one a year ago and I don't know why it's just not love anymore. I sold the black one so I just have the navy now.

Hi Crissy. I'm so sorry it's not love for Hamilton anymore. Maybe you're just tired of carrying it? I have that happen, absolutely love a bag, it's perfect, then as time goes on, little things about the bag start to irritate me. That was my sign it was time to carry something else for a while and let the other bag have a rest. I still like my N/S Hamiltons, but have carried them much less this year than I did last year. I think I kind of got sick of carrying the same bag all the time (I carried my Black Hamilton for 4 months straight last winter, and I've never carried one bag for so long), as I like to switch bags frequently (and Coach was being neglected and we can't have that!!!). Give it some time, but if you really don't love them anymore, it may be time to let it go.

I still love my Hamilton but find it is more suited to work or business. I can't see myself wearing it daily with my casual clothing. I do however, see many Hamilton's being carried as an every day bag. Still love it when I do carry it.
