Is a fur vest still "in" this year?

I never jumped on this fashion wagon but I really like the faux fur one pictured below. Am I too late for this trend? I don't want to look like a 6 foot muppet

Fur - faux or real - is even more in fashion this winter. On the catwalk it's been done mostly in black, in a long hair and more jackets than vests.

it is in...but not for me..i can imagine my co-workers giving me weird looks if i wore it. Or even on the streets...i don't think i can...just too much. lol
