Is a Chanel boy suppose to look like this after a while?

Given the way the bag is designed, could see the sides scrunching and top folding up in the long term (with the whole weight of the bag supported by the two end O-rings). Part of the reason why I've held off on the Boys is to see how they hold up with age. So far not very impressed and don't think they age as well as Balenciagas or even the classic flaps.
This was on a bloggers page. I have yet to own the boy bag but currently doing my research before I take that plunge.

How long have you had yours? and is it an old medium or new?
This is exactly why I've taken so long to decide if I want a lamb boy, I really don't want caviar but I might just end up caving because I want a boy but I do not want to have to baby it.
I am just debating... I don't like the black caviar boy but the colors ones look nice. I also wonder if that bag was lamb and calf is better?
Hopefully someone chimes in about this. I want a black one and the calf leather looks super nice compared to the caviar one IMO.

Do you use it often? How much do you fit in there? See your bag makes me want a calfskin boy.
