I was just at the Jewelry Mart in LA and saw quite a few large gssp as pendants. They look really good with diamonds

Me neither, I prefer more delicate chains. The diamond would also need to be slightly bigger to keep the proportions right.

I think anything between .25 and .30 would look good. Is there any way your jeweller could mock up the design with different sized stones to enable you to decide what you like best? I can't wait to see photos of the finished pendant, it will look amazing!
