Sorry if this has been asked before, or this is the wrong forum, but I need help for the experts (you guys!).
Is the online site 6pm.com legit? As in, do they sell the real deal, or replicas?
Have you heard of them before?

The Kenneth Cole handbag shown in the above link is about $90 cheaper than the same bag in stores right now.
I saw this bag a few days ago, $299.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I guess I should have gotten myself together before I posted a few minutes ago, but here's the whole story that I need your help with;

I saw this Kenneth Cole "No Slouch" medium Hobo bag in Nordstrom two days ago at $299.
Kenneth Coles website has it also, same price, $299.

So after researching online, this is what I found...

Here it is at Zappo's for $239.20

Here it is at 6pm.com for $209.30

And here it is on eBay for $149.95

I trust Zappos, and now a few of you have told me that 6pm.com is legit, great. But what about one on eBay?
Why would this same bag, which is fairly new, have such a price descrepancy, going from $299 to $149 with several price points in between? Obviously, the one on eBay is the best price - but can I trust it?

Thank you so much for your help, again.

With ebay you don't know that's not a fake--lots of fakes on ebay. And you don't know whether it's a battered-up floor model or a smacked-around return or an outlet store second. Or maybe something old and bruised from someone's closet that they are describing as "New with Tags."

Zappos and 6pm.com often share the same inventory with the prices on Zappos a bit higher because Zappos offers free two-way shipping, while 6pm charges $7 shipping.

By the way there was a Dooney bag I liked last summer that was retailing for $345 at Dooney.com and at Nordstrom's. It was $310 on Zappos and there were various people selling it for $170 to $250 on ebay. It looked like the ones on ebay were excess inventory or seconds purchased from the Dooney outlet stores. They didn't look fake, but one can't always tell for sure unless you see the bag up close.

I love 6PM.com Only problem is they sell out of popular sizes quickly. Or maybe they don't ever get them. I did once find just ONE pair left of black patent Cole Haan "Air" pumps, 1 week before I had an important meeting! In my size!!! They cost about $179...which was a $100 savings. I was berry berry happy, needless to say!

:happydance:

Ooohhhh...be careful with the eBay one. I see that the seller has lots of positive FB, BUT click on the negs and neutrals. I don't like to read several that say the same thing...esp when that one complaint is that what they received was not what was pictured.

Go for 6pm or Zappos. Have you checked Amazon too? Good Luck!

I tried Amazon, and they have the bag for $289. And not in the color I want either, which is mica metallic.
Sounds like 6pm.com is the way to go, at $209.

It's too bad eBay has become a place of suspicion rather than what it was meant to be, ordinary people selling unneeded/unused authentic items to other ordinary people.

I think eBay should have two different sites; one for businesses and one for regular folks that are simply cleaning out their closets or whatever.

Thanks for all the advise, guys.
Cheers!

6pm is totally legit -- like someone else said, it's basically the Zappo's outlet.

I have had some great steals on clothes and shoes there, but the good sizes go fast. As far as bags, I just purchased a beautiful bronze Cole Haan Crosby bag for almost 75% off. The prices fluctuate quite a bit. From one day to the next, my bag dropped $60 in the price.

Good luck
