I found a cute Lea convertible x body at Marshalls today for $249.99 and after taxes it"s $280. From my limited knowledge of MK bags it appears to be made for outlet as the lining has MK name printed all over instead of the MK in s circle. Any comments or thoughts if this is ok deal and If the leather quality is ok? I've included a photo of the bag, I bought the one on left (color blush). TIA

Beautiful color! I personally wouldn't pay $280 but if you like it, that's all that matters.

For me, the outlet bags need to be considerably cheaper than full price so I think about what a comparable full price style would cost when buying outlet. I am not sure what this style retails for but I saw one with an MSRP of $348 so I'd be willing to pay no more than half of that since I think they inflate the MSRP for outlet. I'm sure others on here can advise.

Edit:
Just saw a few others with MSRP of $268 but there could have been multiple sizes...

Thx alliecatt29 for the feedback! The price tag indicates $378 retail. I do like the bag but I have noticed discounters like Marshalls mark up factory items way higher than at the outlet . I agree with u on the pricing too

I wouldn't buy it. A lot of MK bags sale full price at Macy's or on his website for $298 & usually look better /are made better then the outlet bags. You could probably find one on eBay for a better deal. But that's just my opinion! .... if you love it & feel you'd use it a lot then go for it.

I personally wouldn't, not for an outlet bag, due to the lower overall quality in terms of materials and craftsmanship. The naughty thing with outlets is that the MSRP is grossly inflated to make the customer feel that they're getting a good deal when they see the "discounted" price, but in reality there is no savings whatsoever unless there's a boutique/last season item genuinely reduced to clear. As the other posts have mentioned though, this is your money and what matters the most is whether or not you're genuinely happy with your purchase.

Yep. Most outlet stores are basically scams.

The large in similar colors, NWT on eBay recently sold for $119 to $149. That tells me they are marked down to $99 somewhere. Unless this is a style/color you've been wanting, and it's hard to find, I'd pass until they mark it down, but that's me. If I see a bag at TJ's or Marshalls and hesitate because of the price, I keep going back, if it's still there, and marked down to a price I'm thrilled about, it was meant to be.

The blush is a pretty color, since you already bought it, if you love it, enjoy, and don't worry about others' opinions.

Price is a bit high, but the interior lining without the circle doesn't necessarily mean outlet bag, the interior of boutique bags changed to just MK, see pic, if it says Michael Kors I believe it is an outlet bag20170606_211858.jpeg

$280 is not a deal on Michael Kors. And from other internet photos and what I recall of recent boutique styles, I agree this an outlet bag. You are right the:
MICHAEL
KORS
repeated pattern is an outlet lining.

For me, great deals on boutique MK are in the $130-$200 range. For $280 you can buy some very nice boutique bags at full price.

If you love a style then it's whatever price you want to pay. :)
