I would call Ippolita and inquire, and get the weight.

I do have some Ippolita necklaces, and there a very nice weight, and beautifully made.

But I don't have the one you're looking at, its very pretty though!

Did you call the NYC office and ask for ALex? She is in repairs and would know the weight/ quality of stones. Good luck. It is really pretty.
I have an Ippolita gold and citrine necklace and it is a nice weight.
The older peices were made better and had more grams and gold weight. Gold is very expensive, so they are not using much of it, unless the peice is solid and the price is up there!

I called their main # off the Ippolita website (but, I'm not sure if her name was Alex).

If they do give me the gram weight, it might still be hard to get a sense of the feel, simply due to its open design. I asked about the return policy - so that's good!

From what most people have said, it seems they like their Ippolita pieces.
I love the simplicity and everyday wear-ability of them. And, sparkle... I can't forget that!!! :smile1:

Thanks again everyone!!!
