I have gone through at least two Kate spade folios. First one, the wear looked terrible at the crease/bend. The plastic layer started to come apart from the pattern underneath. Second one, the plastic shell cracked when I dropped it. So I eventually replaced it.

I’d recommend getting Michael Kors leather folios. Because they are real leather, the exterior lasts longer. Only problem is the plastic shell that holds the phone, which can crack when you drop the phone.

But Kate spade or kors folio cases are still worth it in my opinion, as they still protect the phone.

I had a leather one that wore extremely well that is used for about a year. It was light colored so it was time to get another and I bought one (online) that wasn’t leather and it isn’t wearing as well. My next one will definitely be leather again.

I have the 8 Plus folio and it’s great no cracks yet considering that I fold it every now and then. Love it , it’s 50% off on the surprise sale; got the black with red poppies on it.

I had a nice Kate Spade case for my iPhone. I couldn't use it. I have an Otter case on mine. It wasn't able to go into the case or come out of it with ease. The case was adorable and very nice leather. IF you ever get it and your phone case isn't smooth and thin, then remove the case.
