Tech iPad: Your Favorite Apps!

EA lowered their prices for a bunch of their apps.

I downloaded Monopoly that I can play with friends and Sim City Deluxe. Both were $.99!

I have 4 pages of apps, but those are the ones I use most.

I got an iPad for Christmas so this thread has been very helpful! I also have some iTunes to burn but I will save those for music. Most of the great apps you mentioned are free! Please don't let this thread die - it is so helpful, especially for someone who finally has an app capable Apple product!

Based on Googled responses some have had success on deleting and reinstalling. Otherwise its known issue.

I'm not sure if monopoly was .99, I got an itunes giftcard right before the sale and I bought monopoly then. My Sim City was .99.

Sorry if my post was misleading. It doesn't tell me the price of monopoly now cause it just says installed.

A lot of the EA games, including Monopoly, were on sale for a while at .99. The sale's probably over now, unfortunately. There's a site (well, probably many, but I know of this one) called appshopper.com which will "watch" various apps for you and tell you when their prices change, which will alert you to sales on apps you really want.

Oh, and Friendly for Facebook has been a good one for me!

Facebook, eBay and The Dailymail (a UK newspaper) have all been good (free) apps for me song with 'style.com' app (vogue application) and also free.
