I was very pleased to see the new advertising released by Coach today introducing Stuart Vevers and his first collection with Coach. The leather of the bags as well as the hardware seems to be very nice quality. I like the direction of the designs and I love the large black tote with some parts of the leather embossed. Frankly, I liked several more and the ones I wouldn't buy were great for people younger than me.

The web site is much improved in my opinion and I also liked the significant change in the men's items. I know Coach is having financial difficulty because I follow their business reports in detail, but I will be happy to buy from an American company who has designs I like as well as much improved quality. Many changes are coming for Coach and I hope they don't make the mistake Mulberry did and price out their loyal customers.

I have checked the Fall previews of Gucci, LV, and other brands as well and the price increases are staggering. I have a wide range of designer brands but I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices I have seen. So I hope Coach produces great quality at a fair market price point.

Yes...I agree. I want them to do well! I think they have the best products in the contemporary market; and the greatest customer service...It's a tough time in this market today...

I still don't like how the models look like sickly skeletons with clothes just hanging off of them, but I do like seeing more pics of the bags. Some of the bags are starting to grow on me more.

LOL, and all of thier eyebrows are invisible. Marc Jabobs did that with his models on his recent fall collection because I remember that picture of Kendall Jenner that everyone was talking about and it looked like she didn't have any eyebrows. That's a trend I don't intend to follow....I like my eyebrows showing, thank you very much!! ;)

I do love a lot of the new fall bags from the Vevers collection-I think it's exciting and I for one cannot wait to see the reveals as they come in....I hope to have one myself! :)

I like some of the new styles, but not sure about their prices-nevertheless, hopefully Coach'll find a business model that works for them! Just saw that the Smythe has double-compartments; if it was single instead, it'd be mine! Usually prefer my hobos/satchels to has one major compartment only. The leather looks luscious though!!

The regular sized Smythe has 1 compartment. The XL has 2.

Where did you see the Vevers advertisement? I haven't seen it yet.
Seems early since his collection isn't available until September (according to Coach website).

I received an advertising email from coach.com yesterday. It is on their site or at least it should be. His work history is impressive and with the new CEO we hope they turn Coach around. I much prefer putting my money in an American company although I wish they were made here.
The collection won't be released until September. I saw three new bag in the store on Thursday, and I don't think they are his, but they were all very nice. Loved the new hardware on all but especially the green one.

I agree with you on the model's looks. The clothes look huge on them and one can only imagine how that leather coat would look on a normal body. Beautiful I am sure. I'm with you in that I think Vevers bags are very nice. As I said the black tote just really caught my eye. I need another black bag like I need a hole in the head!
I have a beautiful deep orange Gucci tote that is fabulous and from the pic the black will certainly be in its category so I can't wait to see it.

The last of the present collection have his inspiration and the introduction of the Turnlock and open link look. IT IS A SIGN OF WHATS TO COME AND I CANT WAIT,
