Introducing… my brand new Ophidia GG Boston purse

I was so excited when FedEx sent me a text this morning that she was out for delivery because I honestly didn’t think she would arrive so quickly!!! I must have thanked the delivery guy 20 times!!! Being this is my very first Gucci I’m sorry for all of the pictures but I know you will all share in my excitement! They did not send the paper shopping bag but I did text the SA I became friendly with at one of the boutiques and he said to come in and he will give me the bag!!! They did, however, send a CANVAS shopping bag!!! VERY CLASSY IMO!!! I have been eyeing this purse in the boutiques for a month now but due to Covid I was told there hadn’t been any production in Italy and there were only floor models available. In 3 different boutiques I saw 4 different purses each had issues I couldn’t live with like funky web stitching, scuffs and scratches on the leather and one (which was “in the back” had to be a return because the shoulder strap was all bent up and there was no stuffing or paperwork inside. The floor samples looked better! I was discouraged. But someone told me to hawk the website different times of the day because items were starting to become available. That’s how I was able to order her!!! She’s absolutely perfect and I adore her!!! I’m hoping she will be the perfect everyday bag for me! Anyway I wanted to share my excitement with people who understand! Thanks for letting me! ❤️❤️

PS I wore white gloves when handling her JUST IN CASE there were issues I didn’t like and I would need to do a return! Somebody told me to that a long time ago with online orders!

The new packaging looks interesting and I like that they give you a reusable canvas bag.
I use gloves too handling some of my bags at home, especially the one of a kind pieces. Lord knows I’m clumsy enough already

For anyone who didn’t see my other thread, my SA was waiting at the boutique for me with both shopping bags!! He knows I decorate my walk in closet with boutique shopping bags and he wanted me to have the limited edition one as well! I thought that was so kind!!!
