Interviewed a candidate with LV Alma

I don't think it's that someone wouldn't get hired b/c they didn't have the right bag (unless it was a counterfeit---I would be skeptical about hiring someone who carried a counterfeit bag in my ethically driven profession), but so much of a job interview is the subjective intangibles. If you interviewer likes fishing and you're an avid fisherman, you bet your bottom dollar you have a better chance at getting that job.

Good thing I am in a field where I don't have to worry about what I can or can't wear to work or interviews.
