I have a job interview tomorrow. Such short notice!! Gack!

It is supposed to be 95+ degrees tomorrow and all I have are winter blazers. It's an interview for a front desk position (reception/intake) at an upscale Senior Residence. It's not exactly a nursing home, but rather apartment living for those over 55 with varied packages of support (one price for just apts, higher for meals, higher still for more care, etc)

There may be some sales involved, I am not 100% certain, but it is a salaried postion.

Do you think it would be okay to wear a dressy blouse, dress slacks and a scarf and skip a jacket with this awful weather?

I would carry the jacket en route to the interview and put it on once inside in the AC. It's not a make or break thing but why not be overly prepared, just in case? If the job has a sales component, sometimes employers expect their sales people to "look the part" KWIM?

Good luck with the interview!
