I've seen a few of those up on ebay over the past year. I think it was confirmed as a legitimate style? There was definitely some discussion over that. It feels like it came out around the time of the belted hobo (a la Mimi ) because it has that little drawstring type adornment around the top of the bag. It's kinda cute...

I think it's a really pretty shape - it's like a precursor to the Purse style. I've seen it in a few leather colors (black, light pink, white) and in canvas with leather trim. But um, I've never seen it listed for more than $300 or so...
