Depends on the size of the books. I would say it definitely could but then it may be quite heavy. Magazines for sure though!!

And yes, I love this bag! Funny because I was never a fan of it before!

It's the extra large jumbo from pursebling. . It fits in my DE Speedy 35 too! . It's a fabulous organizer. It's zipped top as well.
