Hello ladies and gents!

I would like to reveal to you (instantly), I mean you all know what the packaging looks like right?!? My new LOVE bracelet in white gold!

So the story behind it is that my best friend and I were both in Paris during our break between the two semesters for uni we have been best friends for five years and we both have stuck together through thick and thin to say the least.

We were going to place a lock on the Pont d'Arc bridge, but when we were there they were already taking down the panels full of the locks (how sad is that). He suggested that we should get tattoos but well, I suggested how about getting a friendship bracelet (I had the LOVE in mind for the whole time [emoji12]) and the idea of getting a tattoo was a bit iffy for me.

Long story short we both bought a LOVE for each other and we had it engraved with our names (he has my name on it and I have his) with best friends forever engraved on it after it.

We both then went back to Pont d'Arc and we put it on each other and the most surprising thing after is that he kissed me (he is gay, I am not - well I might reconsider it after the kiss)! So not only did I get a LOVE but I also got kissed by a guy for the first time haha!!

So yeah! Thanks for letting me share! Already considering another one to stack! Thankfully the closest Cartier boutique is a five hour flight away [emoji4]

Beautiful. And such a sweet story.

Thank you so much guys for your comments :D Fun fact, if you look at my arm closely, there is a thin strip of hair missing... I had a free micro patch threading session with my Love when I was in the shower - it was not pleasant!

That's certainly one way to start the day. :roflmfao:

On another note, enjoy your new bracelet! Hope you guys had fun in Paris!

Hahaha!!! That certainly woke me up without my coffee! Woke up the whole house too with me screaming in pain in the shower!

And on the another note, thank you!! It was his first time to Paris and I was his personal tour guide! It was so much fun!

Amazing bracelet!! Do you mind telling me about the engraving process (like how much it cost, how long it took, etc)

Hello!! The engraving service is free for the first three months of purchase (so starting from the date of when you purchased the bracelet i.e. the date mentioned on the certificate of authenticity) - after that I think you have to pay for it to be done. The process takes from memory just under a week or so (5 - 6 days) but it does depend on where you purchase it.

Since both of ours was the WG versions without any diamonds, the flexibility of what we were able to write was quite a lot, but if you do have one with diamonds, you are limited to by character between the diamonds. Also both our brand spanking new, never before worn bracelets also had a good clean as well after the engraving service - which was another really nice touch.

Thanks for your comment and I hope my sketchy recollections can help you in some way!

Thank you so much! I am soon going to get a love bracelet and I think I will get it engraved!

No worries!! Good luck on deciding which one to get! Also note that if you do get it engraved, you can't return/exchange it back to Cartier, but I doubt it that anyone would want to return their Loves!

Also a little tip, make sure you measure both your wrists over and over again just to be sure (and then take the measurements of your larger wrist in case you decide to wear it on the larger wrist), and take note of what season you get yours or even the time of the day. Wearing this thing I actually get a really good indication of when my body swells due to the heat and also when it 'deflates'!

Hahaha thanks for the tip! I have forever been deciding on whether I need the 16 or 17. Both of my wrists measure 14cm so I was thinking 16, but I don't want it to be too tight on my arm.
