It is a SMALL bag, Petite Noe is a med/large bag. But, as far I am concerned, both Noe can carry WAY MORE than you'd expect. NOE(s) are the BEST!

I agree with Joy, I think the Noe design allows for the bag to be just packed
What I'd like to do is compare it with Alma BB, because an Alma is next on my icon list and not sure whether to go BB or PM.
I hope to try the BB in a few days when I'm in Cancun!
