Hi All! I'm considering buying three 'Diamond Pave Initial Charms' by Helen Ficalora. I love them adn feel like I need something simple for everyday.

My question is…are initial charms "out", 'trend' or are they "classic"? Is there an age range for wearing these? If I'm over 35 years old…am I too old for these?

THANK YOU ALL!

Hi! I think it sounds like a great idea as I have wanted something for everyday wear as well. I am a lot older than you and IF TASTEFULLY done I think would be fabulous!!

I'm around the same age and I have an initial charm from Helen Ficalora that I wear quite often. I've received many compliments on it at work, and one girl wanted to know where I got it so she could get an initial for her new baby. I think they look best worn simply. Go for it!

Thank you! I really like them and although I have lots of necklaces, I feel like these are something you can wear "all" the time. Of course, could also give my daughter her initial someday!

I've been thinking of getting a Tiffany initial as a gift for my Mother this Christmas. I have two for myself, one with my pets initials, and one with my own. I wear them often! So I think they're a great idea!

I think they are both trendy and classic. There has definitely been a surge in initial pendants in the last while and Helen Ficalora, in particular, has been really trendy (I have a plain YG one) but I think they have a classic look and would look good any someone at any age. I say go for it!

I like initial jewellery and have a gold letter that used to belong to my mum (its older than me) and now I have it because we share the same initial. I agree - I think initial pendants can be both trendy but also classic depending on the size of the charm and how it is worn (ie on its own or layered with other necklaces)

I am 37 and am currently wanting this necklace - letter T for my 18 month old son :-)

I was just in the Roberto Coin store and they have the tiny treasure initial necklace (WG/YG) but they had a disc necklace with the diamond initial that was great (WG/YG). Actually, in the disc, I like the YG one better. The tiny treasure was, well, tiny...but good for layering.

Thanks skyqueen! I didn't know RC made initial discs. I can't do individual letters, which I love, because I need to get 3 initials! Can't wat to check these out!

Grrr, I just saw these and I love them! The problem is that I need three and the way the discs are attached to the chain, it won't allow for more than 1...so bummed!

I bought something else but I was interested in 3 tiny treasure initials on one chain...they can make them for you. I loved the look but not with my initials.
