In terms of Material which is better ? Monogram Canvas or Epi Leather

i was surfing the website and found 2 bag which i would like to lay my hands on but to due financial constraint i can only get 1.
and given that i'm a noob to this so can someone tell me which is better in term of material. :shame: and which one would you get if you are in my position

1) Monogram Canvas - Palermo GM or 2) Epi Leather - Madeleine GM

Monogram canvas is probably the more durable of the two (I heard Epi leather can wrinkle?), so I would go with the Palermo.

I like the palermo... I love EPI for SLGs. I don't have any EPI bags...they're pretty stiff.

I have the Palermo GM and it is wonderful and classic! One more vote for the Palermo

I personally would go with Epi.
1.) It's leather
2.) It's the less expensive of the two
3.) It's something not everyone will have
4.) Less faked

However, the Monogram might be more durable, but in the end you will be paying more for coated canvas. And for overall stylewise, I'd vote Madeleine as well, much more appealling.

I think my Epi bags are more durable than the Mono canvas; not stiff at all, but my Epis are "vintage." Perhaps the newer ones are stiffer?

I tend to like Epi over Monogram as the material is more durable, like you don't need to worry too much about the leather getting dirty/wet. In terms of which bag to get, you should get the Palermo GM. I have one and it's so versatile and great to use.
